The parts list that Roger posted shows that one bearing is a 6504ZZ and the other one is a 6505ZZ. This is a standard bearing size that is available from lots of sources. I think that the ZZ refers to a "shielded" bearing. But if you order a 6504RS, you'll get one with a rubber seal. That will seal out the dust a bit better. Perhaps it'll last longer.

Some people prefer to get bearings form either Germany, Japan or the US. I strongly suspect that buying from Grizzly will get you a Chinese bearings. Many are good. Some... ?

Dumb question how would you know when to replace them? Would the spindle have slop/wiggle in it?

Mark, to check your bearings, take the belt off the spindle pulleys, spin by hand with the handwheel, and listen for any grinding noise, feel for any drag or rough area as you slowly spin the spindle. If it is quiet and smooth, and does not show any "play" movement from solid round rotation, then your bearings are fine. You can feel rough bearings, and a lot of times hear a grinding noise when rotated by hand without power from your motor.

Mark, I can hear that the front bearing is grinding a little.... so i will need to replace it sooner than later. Does anyone have a amazon/ebay link to purchase the bearings?

Get the number off the current bearing and do a search…Amazon.com, bearings.com or some other vendors will have your particular size.
