I had someone in the shop recently buying my scrool saw. While he was there he asked about my G0800 so I gave him a walk around of it. He asked me how much I would take for it which caught me off guard I have never thought about selling. He keep asking how much if I were to sell it I told him I didn't know but it would be more than $3000 I have the bed extension for it also. When I bought it I thought I would be turning large items but that has not been the case. If I were to sell it I would replace it with a G0733. My question is what is a fair price for both buyler & seller?
With the bed extension, I think $4000.00 would be a decent price. If I had to replace my G0800 with a similar quality machine, I’d have to fork over $7000, maybe more. The G0800 is in the same class as the PM 4224b. Just not as many extras like the venturi system for vacuum chucking and power strip for lights. Me, I wouldn’t sell mine unless I was getting a Robust American Beauty or maybe fully tricked out Oneway 2436, and at that, I might just keep it anyway!
