Hi Jerry, I haven't tried getting any wood from the city of Phoenix, I get most of mine from a tree trimming/removal company. They know the kind of wood I'm interested in and the save the bigger pieces for me. I'm not actually in Phoenix, I'm in Wittmann (between Surprise and Wickenburg).
Hey Kathy, I was wondering if you get any of your wood from the city of Phoenix during the monsoon season. I found where they stage the stuff here in Tucson, and got permission to collect wood when they have wood. It's staged there until they get a big truck load, and the they send it to the dump. What end of Phoenix do you live? Just curious. ..... Jerry (in Tucson)
