  1. Thomas,

I'm enticed both for planning my own DC system and for adapting your work to make it more generally available/usable for the average Joe/Joann; while simultaneously wrestling with how big of a bite do I want to take on.

I'm definitely interested, but am trying to figure out how. I'm a very experienced programmer (trained as an electrical engineer), but do not have Matlab or any Matlab experience. I have the time, at least at the moment (COVID-19 caused my last contract to be terminated). I have the ability to write a program to support a graphical layout of components, and then generate a list of connected components; also the ability to allow users to easily define new components. How much does your program rely on Matlab-specific libraries to model performance, or could your work be easily ported to a stand-alone language like Java, C#, Python, or C/C++? Depending on how cryptic Matlab code is, I'm pretty adept at converting from languages foreign to me.
