Saw search - Jim from Massachusetts, here. I'm "thinning the herd" of excess gear, we're spoilt for choice in Millers Falls country. Do you rip with boards upright in a vise, or flat at knee height? I'm using shorter saws, myself. Personally, I find handles more important than blade steel - the defective old saws have already failed and modern steel is excellent. I've got extras if you've got something local to trade. Jim
