Hi Will I been considering buying some Jet parallel clamps. I read your comments regarding the relatively poor clamping pressure of the Jets as well as your comments about using oil to lubricate the threads of the clamps. Your comments regarding the oil suggested that the oil significantly improved the Jet's clamping pressure but I wasn't 100% sure that that was the case after reading the entire thread. Is it true that using the oil significantly improved the clamping pressure of the Jets above the 475 psi that you first reported in thread? If so have significant was the improvement? I appreciate your input as I am about to purchase some parallel clamps. The Jets are first on the list if oiling them gets me close to the 1000 lbs of pressure that is advertised for their clamp. If 475 lbs is the best that the Jets can provide in terms of clamping pressure then I will be purchasing another brand. Thanks Brandon
