Plow planes - I've owned and quickly sold off the more complicated versions (Record 405). I now use a wooden body plow plane with the single iron for all my for drawer bottoms. I score the full length of the groove to be cut - rather then trust tiny "nickers" to stay aligned. Why spend money on extra functions? All those knobs, all that rust... Jim Westport, MA
