California to ban internal combustion engine cars by 2035

    Thread Starter: Bill Dufour

Our Governor just signed a bill to outlaw the sale of new internal combustion engined cars and trucks? by 2035. unclear if it includes trucks or not. It does include gas and diesel. I assume propane and CNG as well. I wonder how forest fire trucks will last on battery power for days in the...

    Anyone building anything?

    Thread Starter: Christopher Charles

Hi all, Me, not so much :) ....It is high summer here, so I have been letting several long languishing projects languish (a NBSS tool chest and a jewelry box). The good news is I'm nearly done with the shop refurb. I've been told that I have a 'wood problem' to which i've always replied that I...

I notice that Becksvoort, and...

Hi, I have a Festool 6 inch orbital that I usually keep 120 girt on it. I have sanded a lot with this sander. I cant stop from getting sanding swirls, doesnt matter if its brand new paper or old. Brand new is a for sure for them though. I have it sped up to full speed, I have dialed it down as...

How much hp does a shaper need?

    Thread Starter: Travis Conner

I ordered a jet 35x shaper at home DEPOT then cancelled the order when I realized they make a 3hp and a 5hp model. About 100 dollar difference in price. Both look to be the same machine other than horsepower. I don't know anything about shapers, they're new to me.
