Looking for a new project to do. I've been spending a few months upgrading the workshop / fixing minor annoyances, and really need to actually build something. I ran across this in a magazine ad. The furniture is supposedly solid teak, though I don't think that will be in the cards for...

Last Post By: Maurice Mcmurry Today, 9:13 AMHi all, I have an older Delta 6" jointer model 37-190 which I've been trying to change the knife blades on (first time doing so). I penetrating oil on the knife bolts but 4 of the screw heads are starting to strip with the 5/16" open end wrench I've been using. I first tried using an 8mm...

As before..cut 2 boards to length...
Lay out and knife the lines..
Using a backsaw..saw the shoulder lines
Then with a mallet
You can easily build one but there are things to consider, some have already been mentioned but here are a couple.
Dust collection
Adjustment,
I would say that most "decent" quality miter saws adopted that feature years ago.
My Bosch from 2013 has it and my 2023 $139 HF has it.
I'm interested in purchasing a preowned Hoffman dovetail machine if anyone is interested in selling. Would prefer a MU-3 or MU-2 pneumatic benchtop model
