    Sharpening Japanese Chisels in 2023

    Thread Starter: Joel Gelman

I am newly motivated to sharpen my hand tools, something I neglected. Many years ago, I purchased Japanese chisels from Japan Woodworker. Not Tasai etc. I just purchased a sharpening book last week, and today attended a sharpening class at Woodcraft. I brought one of my chisels in. The method...

Timbermate. Every time I use it I think about how it is a wonderful product. It can be rehydrated, easy to apply, drys fast, sands great. One day I hope to never need Timbermate but until then it will be the favorite. Anyone else have an odd favorite shop product or tool.

    Thread Starter: Paul Ricard

Hi guys, I have Felder F900Z spindle moulder along with the Felder Curve Moulding Guard. My current project is to make curved windows and a big 4 sash balcony door. The shape of the frame, which is 2.7meters wide, is shown in .pdf attachment below. My question is: What is the best way to setup...

    my first oil stones

If you want a stone to refresh the edge of your chisels or irons, you'll be best served by a soft arkansas. A hard arkansas is a very hard stone, more
