It's sad that you have to bring your politics into this forum.

Impressive work. A scanner 3D as suggested might do the trick. I only wish to do this type of stuff someday.
I think you meant, DRIVEL, not dribble, however. I love hoops, though, I live in CT and the NCAA was fun to watch.

Sounds like you need a 3D scanner... It would make short work of several of your challenges.

As for the governor, I'm frankly puzzled by the hostility generated by apparent good sense. There are 40 states in the various degrees of financial straits, and this is something that threatens the fragile "recovery" of the entire country. At some point or other the states will all have to deal with their financial insolvency, and the amount of cuts this governor is asking for is (approximately) only 1/11th of the total needed to get the state back on track.... And it's not like the Federal "Government" is really in any position to bail them all out. If it does, it'll be like the Titanic trying to come to the rescue of the lifeboats..

Fantastic work so far Joel. By the way, are they speaking of throwing that dictator out of office yet?

    Joel,

Thanks for the post / blog. I like your approach much more than the typical "resolution" which is often ambiguous, or over-reaching. I am working on my own "goals" or accomplishments for the year.

    Joel,

I think that you will be very close, if you haven't already done so, to completing goal number 1. Your work is nothing if not amazing.

The 100 mile race.........nah, too much like exercise, lol.

The patent application process can be difficult and fun all in one. Good luck

Jerry Seibel had mentioned to me the other day that you were gearing up to start showing horses this year. Good luck with that also.

    How's the school going?
