1936 Chevy:

Turn up the sound on this 4 part B&W film showing the building of a 1936 Chevy from melting the raw materials for the engine block through its delivery.

The sound track is really good & the production methods are"primitive" by today's OSHA standards. The use of B&W film, shadows, music score was an art in those days.

Thanks Ray, very interesting I like historical things like that...don't get to see enough of them! After seeing that documentary ....makes you wonder
about some things doesn't it? (1) Safety and health protection on the job,(2) how many jobs like those have been replaced by robots,(3) how many of us would be willing to do some of that very dangerous work today?
and on, and on, and on,....some things to think about!

Makes you wonder what the next century of auto manufacturing will look like, or if it will even exist.
