Last year, at about this time, I received a wonderful gift--an 18" Rikon Bandsaw. The saw has worked well, but I have to admit I was always a little surprised at how much it vibrated. Since it was my first bandsaw, I assumed I just had high expectations.

A few days ago, I decided to call Rikon. Rod from Tech Support walked me through some diagnostics. Since I live near a Rikon facility, he had me bring in my top wheel, and he swapped it right out with a new one. No questions about my having the saw for a year--they just wanted to make it right. And they did. The saw is now purring.

Now, I feel like I've received a great gift, twice!

I'm glad to hear that Rikon honors their 2 Year Warranty without any hassles. I've had their 14" bandsaw for 6 months now without any troubles but it's nice to hear that their customer service stands behind the product.
