I need a wet/dry shop vac, woodcraft has this one on sale http://www.woodcraft.com/product.aspx?ProductID=149163&FamilyID=21035. Any experience with this product? Any recommendations for a different wet/dry vac?

Thx
David

Unless you need a stainless steel drum, I think the plastic drums are nicer as they won't dent. I've had Sears, WAP, and also Rigid, over the past 40 years and none have cracked. The plastic is lighter too.

I prefer the Rigid 1850, super quiet and I've seen it as low as $120 several times.

I've been impressed as heck with my little Rigid shop vac. So much so that when my company wanted to give it to another tech, I went and bought a new one that very day =D
For the price they are darn hard to beat, I tend to treat a vac as a short lived item, and don't expect bearing etc to last more than 5 years, but for the price it's a really good tool.
