Cleaning a Leigh Jig

I pulled my Leigh D4 from the back of my shop today, and it is caked with sawdust. I ran my air hose over it but there is some sticky crap caked on there. Any recommendations as what I should use to clean it up??

I found a small brass brush works best. The small ones that look like a tooth brush.
