:D Thanks to Dennis Peacock for tutoring me on my first pen making experience. That got me hooked, had to have a mini-lathe. New to wood working but decided to build the bench for the lathe. First time usin M/T joinery. Used cheap pine didn't want to destroy any expensive hardwood. Bench turned out heavy & stable. Still need to get around to the sanding and painting of bench. Ready to start my first 20 pen set for Freedom Pens this week-end. Thanks again Dennis :) :)

Hi Billy,
It looks like you are off to a great start. That is a nice bench for your new tool. You may want to hold off on the paint. I see a set of drawers added to hold pen stuff turning tools, finish materials in the near future.
Enjoy,
