Where do you guys get your shellac flakes, BLO or Tung or T&T as well as P&L #38 , Japan dryer and your favorite varnish/topcoat?? Naturally, the local H.Depot or Menards or paint store do NOT carry these items. My Rockler as well as Woodworkers is pretty far and I'm not sure they'd have all of these. Is there a good, dependable mail source for these? Or should I bite the bullet and do the drive and hope they have the items? What works for you?..Thanks in advance Jerry

Jerry,

for some things, I got to the local Sherwin-Williams store, others I go to the local BB stores and the rest I order online from Woodcraft, Rockler and Homestead Finishing. Jeff Jewitt is really great and very knowledgeable and what he sells, he stand frimly behind the product.
