DeWalt Track Saw / Kreg Clamp Question

So I got my new Dewalt Track saw with the 55 and 102 inch rails (while MS Cashback was still 30% of course :D) but am not inclined to spend $50 on the clamps which look quite cheap to me. I was thinking about getting a pair of kreg bench clamps but not sure if they will fit...the rail center can fit a 1/4 inch bolt, but not a 5/16 inch T Bolt. My question is what size is the bench clamp bolt...if it is 1/4 I think ill give them a try, if not, its off to the drawing board.

Try northern or harbor freight or someone who has welding tools. They have a better selection of "clamppliers" than the big box stores. I bought one from harbor freight to supplement my kreg kit and it was $3.99, it is no vise-grips but it works. So you could probably spend $10 get something and test it for a while. If it works you could upgrade to an American made set.
