75 spinning tops

[Duff Bement]

This is the 75 tops I made for my sister to give to the kids at the school where she volunteers as an adopted Grandma. She helps the kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade classes. What a great project this was. I am fairly happy with how they turned out. Some could have been painted better but they are not too bad for the first attempt. The best part was the nice thank you card from my sister. I think we need to try to keep this Christmas Sprit going all year. It does the heart good to do something nice for kids I don’t even know.

Makes ya feel good doing stuff like this doesnt it? We're helping out a family this year who just lost their home and had to move in with relatives this week. These toys you have made will bring 75 smiles this Christmas, you should be very proud!!
