Sketchup on a Mac

Does anyone here use sketchup on a mac? The interface for a mac is a bit different than for a PC and I'm having trouble with the simplest navigation. How do you draw in plan view on a mac, I can't find the little house icons in diffrent perspectives to click on? Seems simple enough and yet it baffles me.

I used autocad and a few solid modeling programs while in school for industrial design but I have just begun to use sketchup. I am struggling to unlearn things and relearn things the sketchup way.

I know what you mean - using SU on a PC in the office and on a Mac at home I have "now where the heck was that" moments on each machine.
