how to seal a photo on a serving tray

I'm making serving trays as Christmas gifts. I would like to place a photo or plastic laminated photo on the tray bottom. How do I seal photos to prevent damage from beverage spills?

Set in the pic and mix this up and pour over it. Since it is a tray be careful not to pour too much as this is self leveling and will harden like a rock. I have done this before so I know it works. In reality it is just a real clear version of 2 part epoxy. Only mix what you need and save the rest.
