View Full Version : Can anyone recommend a book or articles for built-in???

Hello Creekers,

Most of my woodwork has been carvings, inlay, small and large boxes, lathe work and the likes. I am going to build a built-in entertainment center to surround a fireplace, out of Alder and was wondering if anyone can recommend some good reading. If I can avoid any major mishaps, it could be worth 10x the price of a book. The built-ins will be in 3 sections all about 66" W x 108" H x 26" D.

it comes with a fantastic dvd that goes over the actual installation process and explains in great detail how to SCRIBE the cabinets.

I have this one and many others including the one posted above. When I start my search for a book I find it helpful to look through some of these Amazon books with the "see inside" feature:
