Thank you all for your wishes. Yes, I was on a cruise; no, I didn't have any 'net access so I didn't get to read these until today. We got back to Albuquerque about noon today, to SNOW!!! And snow, and more snow. We have about 3" on the ground, which is almost unheard-of for this time of the year here.

Yep, I got cake---a sugar-free chocolate one, specially made by the chef on the ship. David managed to ingratiate himself with our maitre'd and she had it made just for me!! The birthday was great, the cruise was great, and I'm glad to be home where the deck isn't moving under my feet and/or chair (although right now I'm still feeling the swaying of the train!!).
