Here are some pics. Just to recap, this is a MAX oscillating spindle sander. It included all 10 original spindles, the 3 table inserts, the owners manual, and wrenches. The delivery guy said it came out of a school. The paint is original, and in really good shape. No rust, but someone did do the top with a ROS and not very well. It's very heavy duty. Notice the pic with my thumb next to one trunion. The trunion is 1" thick cast iron. Also, much of the main body is cast aluminum. The very base and top are cast iron. It's a 1HP, 1PH machine, and it runs incredibly smooth. The dust port is there too. The only issue, it smells like gear oil. I washed the outside down with soapy water, but there was barely any oil there. I did see a few drops from under the machine after only 4 hours, so it looks like I need to replace the seal. Since I'll be going to all that trouble, is there a synthetic oil that won't smell as bad as the 90 weight gear oil?
