I have a customer which owns a pet grave yard. He would like to have some sort of metal plaques that can be attached to concrete block.What would be the best weather bearing product to laser engrave? And the best bonding product to use? Thanks Robert

If you go with stainless steel, be sure to use 316 and not 304.

THANKS James But he wants a different look for this section of the yard.Mike I know very little about corian, just that it makes good counter tops. Is there
a type that has a inner color or can it be painted? And what type of glue will hold in outside weather?

316 has a bit of molybenum in it, which makes it highly resistant to a lot of chemicals (e.g., acid rain). 304 is without and tarnishes...

Robert - Dan is correct, but more to the point, salt air will corrode 304. If you have anything stainless on a ship or beach house, you will need it to be 316.

Corian is a solid material.. It can be color filled. I believe there are several types of construction adhesive which will hold up in the weather.

I have several customers who have done this. None have failed but the most impressive is an installation in very adverse weather conditions. They used GOOP from Eclectic Industries for Corian to concrete. Give me a call if you want to have more information. Information is free even if you don't buy Corian from us.

But I am always suspicious that I am overpaying.
Does this actually do a better job than Silicone?
