Who does table saw milling for a refinish in the MN, ND, WI, IL, IA states for a decent price? I need a 34-444 table refinished, about 27"x20 1/8"

Thanks

Mike,

Actually, you don't want the table surface milled as it can leave a rough surface. Instead, look in the yellow pages for firms that do "Blanchard" grinding. It will cost a few dollars more, but you will end up with a perfectly flat table with a mirror finish. The surface can be so perfect, in fact, that you can have a vacuum created between the workpiece and the top, making it difficult to lift something up after a cut (think MDF).

One thing to consider is if the table top will have enough thickness left to allow for remilling the miter slots back to depth. If not, you may need to have the bar for your miter gauge milled thinner as well (ask me how I know) :D.
