Okay, so after failing pretty bad w/ the stone and oil method, and actually trying to use my chisels for somthing that needed to be really sharp... I splurged on the 3000 a few weeks back when the ms deal was 30%.

The instructions are very clear, I was up and running in a matter of minutes. The only flaw I had with the setup was w/ the rubberish honing disk, I didn't get it totally flat when putting it on and there were a couple bubbles stuck under the disk. I poked the air pockets per instructions but it's still not perfect but still seems to perform well.

My chisels were in really bad shape so this first round took a bit longer than I would expect it to moving forward, mostly finding the correct beval angle.

It is super easy to use and in the matter of minutes I had my chisels looking like a chrome bumper and cutting the hair on the back of my hand.

I'm very pleased, highly recommended!
