woodmaster w1200 drum sander

anyone with any information on a older w1200 drum sander.I bought an old one and I am confused on how to attach paper.The reasearch i've done says a hook & loop paper is used on the new machines but my machine has a smooth drum.mabee adhesive,clips, or did my velcro come off?I called the factory and they said it is about 25 years old and then blew me off(wikked rude)any info would be mint thanks:confused:

The new woodmasters come with smooth drums, too. You can buy the adhesive-backed velcro mats from them and put it on your drum. Then you can use any felt-backed sandpaper.
