Off to Echo Lake

Echo Lake is an annual collaborative event of about 40 local, national and international turners, furniture makers and other artists held at Bucks County Community College. I am thrilled to be invited again this year and it looks like I'll make it(missed last year don't ask). Basicly we're putting 40 people into a large woodshop for three days and we will see what comes out on Saturday and then we'll sell it at a dinner/auction Saturday night. I'll try to post some pics thru the weekend.

Here's a kaliedoscope I helped with. The ball is about 12" dia with three different eyepieces it's lighted inside by a modified flashlight. The base is morning glory vines made from metal rod. I turned the flowers and helped with the metal work while many other people worked on the rest.
