Sneak Peek - Freud door contest

Not quite done yet, but I'm pretty excited and had to show someone.

This is my first attempt at interior doors.

The pile of lumber is a material from a deck I tore down last year.

I have been taking pics throughout the process and I plan on posting them when I'm finished.

As I hack around on the doors, I keep telling myself to take your time and enjoy. So far its working!

Rails and styles are the old joist, Doug Fir. The panels are the decking, Redwood.

That's a beautiful door Matt. Exciting to think that lumber once destined to a life of being walked on will now have the pleasure lounging in a door opening on proud display for all who pass to admire. Sort of a rise in station from my view point. A promotion if you will.
