Just a couple of Bird Houses

I've been kind of busy, but thought to show a few of the Bird Houses I've made this past little while.

Nicely done Leo... I've been telling the wife "We need to get some birdhouses in our back yard" ... Been over a year here at this house and STILL haven't done it yet.. LOL

Note to self: ... make bird houses this winter for spring next year!

Sorry for waiting so long to reply, had to get some finish turning done before the deadline today :o :D

David these are rather small Bird Houses, sorry for not adding the dimensions of them, the longest one is approx. 6" long and the smallest one is 2½" tall.
But if attempting larger ones I would drill a large hole to the depth required and then use a hook or ring tool, or if I had none use a large size scraper/Oland tool to open it up as much as needed, should make for some awesome nice birdhouses :D :cool:

Those are great!! Love the ones with bark. Do you ever have a problem with them splitting? Or are they turned from relatively dry branches?
