Finished a few more pieces today. This is cedar fresh off the buffer. 8X5 1/2", 8 coats of wipe on poly and 3 wheel buffed. Took about 3 weeks to cure before I could buff out.First view is the front, 2nd is the back...Bill...

Another great job! I love the glass like look, it seems to sell best for me also. I think it looks rich!

Bill. Do you use a moister meter before you finish them? Do you teach?

Ron: No moisture meter here, although most all of the wood I have used for HF's have been cut and sealed then stored my my basement shop for a year or better. These cedar pieces were in the shop for 3 years and have shown no movement. As for teaching...I am flattered with the question! No, I mean I am really flattered! Can't teach worth a darn (so says my wife and son). Seems as if I go in to wayyyyy too much detail on most subject mattter. I am glad when I can help anyone out though. Makes me feel as if I can contribute...Bill..
