laser setup question..

i just got my versalaser last week, we didn't install it yet. today we had someone come over to see about installing the exhaust, but he said that he didn't think we needed it. and that the blower alone should work without having the tube outside?

he didn't know what he was talking about, i think...

what kinda set up do you need?

we have the blower and tubes an stuff that the vesalaser people said we needed..

The exhaust tube and blower are for extraction and elimination of fumes, odors and smoke. You will generate a lot of those things with your laser. Do not attempt to operate the system without an exhaust to the outside or to a filter cabinet expressly designed for this application. The on board blower or fan in the unit is just for cooling the laser components. I'd stick with the suggestions your rep offers since this is what they do for a living. Your purchase should have included setup and a small amount of training on using your machine. I'd get in touch with rep and get him out there.
