Picture 1 -- bar fixture built by Bob out of cypress and ipe. The two woods go nicely together. The fixture goes all the way to the top of the cathedral ceiling. The top part (which is outside the frame of the picture) is covered with fishing hats.
Picture 2 -- Really nice alcove fixture built by Bob, again out of the cypress/ipe mix. This time finished with oil and wax. That ipe is amazingly dense stuff and looks very much like teak.
Picture 3 -- Beautiful hutch which Bob uses to store fishing tackle. I think this one is all cypress. Beautiful detail.
All in all, my visit with Bob was a lot of fun. He was a great guy and easy to talk to. Thanks for looking. Jack.
