Anyone know of a good source of magnetic sheets with adhesive backing? Looking to do some labeling of warehouse shelves and would like to custom cut the sheet to appropriate length.

Thanks

I bought some business card sized magnets on ebay for next to nothing. Do a search and you'll likely find plenty of them.

Go by a place that does magnetic signs. They will give you their mistakes. Use spray adhesive to attach your labels. Or go to Office Depot type store and get the magnetic business card size pieces . .

Most sign suppliers sell large rolls of 24" wide magnetic sheet - we pay around $1 sq foot for it.

It's very easy to take pieces of the roll, cut to fit your laser, and than apply ADA type VHB adhesive to the back before cutting and thus make your own.

However, I don't know that this standard magnetic would cut in a laser (or be safe) so you may want to check first. I think the same manufacturers also make rolls of the laser type though...

Holly lobby and michaels have rolled strip magnets in several widths. We cut with sissors to length. Print the label in printer on label paber from office depot and cut and stick to magnet.

If you are looking for something that has adhesive back to stick to shelves, can't you use plastic sheeting?

http://www.fridgedoor.com/photmagsheet.html - I'm going with this place for now.

Bruce, we're printing labels, laminating them, and then placing a small 3/4" x 3/4" magnet on each end. I estimated the cost of doing a label is approximately a nickel each.

There's also this place that I have used in the past: http://www.magnetsource.com/Solutions_Pages/zipstrip.html
