This one is of the same design as the last spalted maple NE that I posted. This one is 12" x 5" finished with Danish oil.

The wall thickness is about 3/16" because the wood warped SO much that I thought I was going to run out of wood before I got it back to round. Unfortunately I lost the tops of a couple of the pieces of bark and I could not find them to reattach.

Looks really cool Toney! Good looking wood/bark contrast! Also notice that there is a little bit of curl! Nice bowl - sure to grab attention!

Great looking bowl Toney. I like the way the bark contrasts with the wood.

Very pretty hunk of ash, lots going on in that piece.

I'm not crazy about the flat bottom design, but you've done a beauty of a job with it. That's a nice one!

Toney,
That is a great looking NE. I really like the shape and the edge really stands out. Very well done.
