12 1/2" x 5" - Danish Oil - Not buffed so that it has a flat finish which I think goes more with the type of wood.

WOW!!! That is one beautiful piece. It looks like there are holes in it. Is that just a trick of the eye? Do you have to harden the wood at some point? Again, an amazing piece.

Beautiful wood! I always enjoy seeing your turnings and this is no exception. I prefer a curve to a narrow bottom instead of the wide, flat stance. Your finish is perfect for the spalted wood and I am a sucker for worm riddled pieces. Well done!

Wall thickness is GREAT. How wide is it?

Very nice NE Toney! Beautiful wood! Love all the markings and the worm holes! You picked a fairly hard form as lots of us have a hard time making a good transition from the wall to the bottom of the bowl. From what I can see - you did good! Thanks for sharing!
