How to price a 2.75 hp, 10" craftsman radial arm saw model 19716 bought in 1989?

Jim,

Most of the CL listings for a Craftsman RAS in this area are around $150.

Please note that many of these older RAS have a major safety recall on them. Be sure to check on that before you consider selling the machine if you have not already done so.

Jim,

I sold mine 7 years ago for $175. It sold the same day the ad ran. Mine was from the 1970s.

Jim,

I had the same problem and tried to sell my Delta RAS a few years ago. Could not get peanuts for it, so I set it up for a dead on ~90 cross-cut and hooked it up to my DC system. Now I use it all the time and I am very thankful that it is still around. All I ask it to do is cut stock exactly to length and not make any mess... and it does!

Best to you for a great Thanksgiving!

1-2 hundred.

I have one about that year, 1988 I think, with the full cabinet/stand under it.

Currently still use it as a rough cut to length saw.

Planning on turning it into a boat anchor one of these days when I get my other SCMS and cabinets set up in its place.

Thanks All,

I did obtain the upgrade and installed it. I don't do any ripping on the saw. I changed out the blade to the original combination blade today. If I could build a bigger shop it would stay. Wishful thinking! Thanks you all for your comments.
