Just finished my first coffee scoop. It took some time to figure out the jam chuck but I like to do things that people can use. It is about 5" long and the bowl of the scoop is about 1 1/2" diameter. It is black walnut.

Sorry the pictures are not better.

Thanks for looking.

All the best and Happy Thanksgiving!

Don

Looks good Don. Much better than mine. I like the ergonomic handle.

Really nice scoop Don! Did you turn the actual scoop portion to a specific size? I like the form, wood and like Richard already mentioned - the custom handle! Nice work!

Great scoop Don. I've never attempted one but it looks like a fun project.

Thanks for your nice comments. It makes it easier to try something different.
Steve, I did try to turn the scoop bowl to 1 1/2" diameter. I have not measured it's capacity (how much it will hold). We may have some strong coffee this Thanksgiving.

All the best.

I like your handle. I may just copy it on my next batch.

Nice looking scoop Don! I'll bet it was exciting that one armed propeller!

Don, Great looking coffee scoop. I like wooden kitchen utensils. I think I will make one from some sweetgum I have. Thanks for posting this.
