i finally got to turn again today. the last time i went to use the lathe, the switch blew. so i got a new switch, and my stepdad wired it right(the last person who did it did every thing wrong that can possibly be done). also got the hole drilled in the steel plate i made to replace the cast iron banjo peice i broke. so now it all works, kinda. there seems to be a bit of vibration in the bushings. when you push on the tool more than a feathers worth the lathe starts making a good bit of noise. is there a way to fix it with out replacing the bushings? also, does any one know if craftsman still makes the faceplates or live centers for their 9 inch lathe(101.06242 )? i looked online but didnt see anything, but i havent called the number on the lathe yet.
