Here's one more of the bowls I did this past week, It is a American Elm about 16" measured over the handles, and otherwise 14¾" X 4¾".
Any and all comments or replies appreciated :D

Wow Leo! The simplicity of the form enhances the beauty of the piece! Very nice work! Really good looking wood grain! Love the handles and the undercut rim! Very impressive Leo!

Leo....I really like that unusual form with the handles. As Steve stated, the simple form allows the wood to speak and it shouts! Very, very nice!

Thanks for all those kind words and comments Guys, really appreciate it :D.

John thanks, the handles are both turned and carved, with even and straight grain when rough turned wet and let dry, the bowl will become oval evenly, then when finish turning it, you leave the part where you want the handles, you then mark where you want the handles and the handles size and saw-carve-sand until you are satisfied with it, HTH :D

Great piece. A first for the handles that I have seen. A great idea. Hopefully I can remember for the future.
