If you can stomach shopping at Walmart I seen a Black and Decker dremel type rotary tool for $20.00. I wouldn't mind having it.

Hartville tool has a cabinet scraper holder with scraper on sale for $20 or Woodcraft has the stanley #80 cabinet scraper on sale for $17 with fre shipping. Rockler also has their 4 inch double square on sale for $10, I bought it a week early for $20 but still feel it was worth it as it checked out perfect with my Starrett Combo Square at both ends and centered.

$19.99. Cash is king in a recession - if we are there yet!
One other suggestion - HF digital calipers. The 6" are usually available for about $16 and work as well as any of them.

One of the things I really use and was under $20(I think) is a center finding rule(and/or tape measure). The kind that gives you the normal measurements above and the centers below. I have 2 rules and a tape and they are the only ones I use anymore because they are so handy.
