I don't have too many tool gloats, they usually go to the guys who live in larger cities, but today I bought a two year old Laguna LT18 with the ceramic guides and Baldor 4.5 hp motor, mobility kit, new resaw King blade, 5 other new blades (look like timberwolf), and the Driftmaster fence, (never been on the saw), $1600 out the door.
I will now have a Laguna 16HD for sale.
How about that?

YUP John... Congrats, that's a gloat all right!!!! If I told you how much the same set up cost me (minus the 5 Timberwolf blades) you'd be patting yourself on the back with a hefty pile of bills you saved .

I'd say that qualifies as an excellent gloat! Congrats!

Not even counting the other blades, I'd say you got a very nice deal. I guess you had to get a great deal to pry that LT16 out of your shop. You might get enough from the 16 to almost cover this purchase--- they're on back order till the end of January.
LT18-- $3100
Mobility Kit-- 205
DriftMaster-- 395
Resaw King-- 273
Freight-- 300+
Sub Total $4273
Congradulations and BTW you suck.

Nice upgrade, John!
(Be sure you become an SMC contributor and advertise your now-redundant saw in the Free Classifieds...six bucks gets you that benefit and more)

Nice! I put that fence on my old Oliver. Good fence.
