WB plane

I saw a plane at the antique mall today i have not heard of its a WB plane in raised letters on the front was A6 at the back was WB and Birmigham,England.

The plane was blue the cap was gold it was abbout 16 to 18 inches long priced at $59.00us.everything moved nothing froze up,the blade was stamped
Birmigham,England it looked good not alot of rust but is nickedup good.

Is this a good plane?,good price?

There is a highly collectable Birmingham plane with a skeletonized metal handle (whole planes are black) but I am guessing yours looks like a Stanley Bailey???

The only Bailey type plane I would buy made in the UK is Record/ Marples (blue or red) or Edward Preston (green) I can think of off the top of my head..
