newly draw expert needed

hi
am using a rabbit 3040 and newly draw
the problem i have is ajusting the power
i can change the speed ok but the power levels say they have changed but it still cutts at the same power.
i can set it to 0% and the power is still high
machine set to automatic

I can only ajust the power with the non automatic setting i have reinstalled the software but still no joy please help its sending me madddddd!!
