Cracked Optics!!!! Ouch

Well I know why this happend, but I thought I would show off our optics! Something must have burned cause our other engraver called me down to show me that something wasn't cutting correctly. I said maybe the optics are dirty! Well I pulled off the optics and the bottom was black and the front cover was black. I cleaned the bottom off to find the nicely cracked optic. Warranty at ULS is great, they sent a new one out an hour after I emailed them for free!

No sooner had I posted that message when the new optic came to my desk! I love ULS!

Warranty....They are good to us!
Well I don't know what caused the black sutt I would guess something burned up in the machine at some point. Then the laser was just hitting the sutt and heat up and eventually just cracked the lense.
