What would be a good source for 3x3 inch or better hardwoods. I live in NM and we are limited here in Albuquerque to 1 and 3/4 at best. I have been laminating But......would like some solids.
Thanks

John:
I order from Penn State Industries, CSUSA, and some others. Google spindle stock or turning stock.

West Penn hardwood. They have a great selection of turning blanks.
Hope that helps.

I am working on some peppermills also and picked up 5 curly maple and 4 curly cherry blanks on e-bay for 53.25 including the shipping. I will post pics later, but I have been pleased with what I got.
