I've got the laser and a shopbot but it figures that my wife wants something that is an Intarsia piece. I know nothing about it and I realize there are a lot of books on the subject. I would like to get some opinions/suggestions from you. Getting some advice from people who have actually read a good book on the subject would help me rather than just picking out a book at random.

Thank you

Bill

Bill, seems to me that one of the best places to look would be here:

Can Intarsia be done with a laser?

I don't see why not, it's shapes in different sizes that are smoothed off with sandpaper at the edges, a bit like a 3d jigsaw puzzle. The skill is getting the right type of graphic and then using your imagination. Imagine that!
