My DC (Delta 50-76) and TS (Delta 34-670....loud and small but functional) are actually not too loud up in the house, when they're both running.

Mental note, though.....in the interest of "domestic relations", there will be NO milling of lumber on the planer (DW735) after the kids are in bed.....

That's a good note John.

Not owning a portable planer, I was amazed to discover how loud they are when I helped my brother install his cyclone.

My stationary planer is so much quieter it's amazing.
