I hope someone can help me out. I know I've seen something like this, but I can't remember what it's called and couldn't seem to turn up any information by searching...

I'm making a chess board and set for my son. I am making drawers to store the pieces and want to make it form-fitting for each piece. I thought about building a simple set of dividers but then I remembered that I had seen something where the insert could be molded to fit each piece.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I could find it?

Thanks.

I know I have seen somewhere on the net on how to do this using the spray foam insulation, but god only knows where it was that I saw it :(, I think it was something to the effect of laying out whatever you want to fit, cover with plastic sheet, the put a box or case over it and spray the foam in to expand around it. I know it isn't the best description...I will see what I can find.
